Studio News: ORC session #1

Even though the members of ORC have been working on songs in their own studios since January 1, today was the first time they came together to work on the music.

They met at Attic Works Studio this afternoon for three hours. Although no songs were finished, a couple of them were worked on heavily. Lyrics were written and a new arrangement was made for "Silver Sphere". They worked on combining two halves of a song they each worked on independent of each other. And a live song called "Of Plants and Machinery" was recorded.

The entire session was recorded with a standard cassette recorder to be reviewed for song ideas and other valuable information. They have plans to have joint recording sessions every few weeks, usually to record vocals.

At this point it doesn't look like the album will be finished by March, but with additional sessions such as today's it will turn out to be one great album!!!
